Parents and community members are encouraged to attend “From the Playground to the Screen,” a program addressing conflict, bullying and cyberbullying. The program is slated for Thursday, Jan. 29, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the Greene County High School auditorium.
Speaker will be Robert Hackenson Jr. His presentation will include tips on coaching your child through conflict; teaching conversation vs debate; creating an action plan for your child; what is bullying/cyberbullying vs what ‘s not; signs of bullying and cyberbullying; what to do if your child is being bullied; what to do if your child is bullying others; and additional resources.
There is no charge for the program. The evening program is geared toward adults. Hackenson will speak with students during the school day.
